Transfer StudentsTransfer ManualThe following guidelines and recommendations pertain to students seeking admission to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and are subject to change without notice. For assistance selecting a College of Liberal Arts and Sciences degree program, please consult exploring majors and careers. Students seeking admission to a degree program not offered by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, must contact the desired college which offers that major. For a complete list of colleges and degree programs, please see the undergraduate catalog. Lower Division Transfer StudentsFreshman and sophomore level transfer admission is extremely limited and competitive. For information and application instructions, contact the admissions office. For additional information, review the prospective student and passport to transfer web sites. Upper Division Transfer StudentsDue to limited space, admission for upper division transfer students without an AA degree from a Florida public community college or State University System School is very competitive; meeting minimum criteria does not guarantee acceptance. Students with 60 or more hours earned but less than 90 hours earned (students with greater than 90 hours earned are generally not considered for admission) and who will not earn an AA degree from a Florida public community college or State University System School must meet requirements for upper division transfer students. If you do not enroll in the term to which you are originally admitted, you must submit a new application by the published deadline in order to be admitted for a future term. Florida Community College & State University System School StudentsStudents with an AA degree awarded or pending are eligible for admission
under the state's articulation agreement. You will be given full
consideration for admission to the University of Florida's College of
Liberal Arts and Sciences if you satisfy the minimum admissions requirements.
Space availability makes admission competitive. Please refer to the recommendations
for competitive applications for more information. If you do not
enroll in the term to which you are originally admitted, you must submit
a new application by the published
deadline. |
