After you receive your AP/IB scores and/or dual enrollment grades:
Reporting your accelerated credits
If you haven’t already done so, you must submit Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, CLEP, and dual enrollment results to the Admissions Office at UF. Official reports must be sent by the testing service or higher education institution to the Office of Admissions, University of Florida, P.O. Box 114000, Gainesville, FL 32611-4000. Your high school can not send these score reports to UF.
- To request AP scores, call 609-921-9000.
- For IB scores, call 212-696-4464.
- For CLEP, call (800) 257-9558.
- Contact your dual enrollment institution (community college, college, or university) to request original, official transcripts.
Meeting BFTP requirements
- Click here to view a list of the acceptable AP, IB and CLEP exams
. Not all AP, IB and CLEP exams are accepted for the BFTP.
- The complete list of approved Dual Enrollment courses is available via the "Florida Academic Counseling and Tracking for Students" web site at: http://www.facts.org .
- On the main page, click on "Academic Reference Resources" in the left-hand column.
- On the Academic Reference Resources page, scroll down to: "Dual Enrollment Courses that Count toward the Acceleration Attempt Requirement of the Bright Futures Scholarship Testing Program"
- You must have earned a score of 3 or higher on any AP exams or a 4 or higher on IB exams (with diploma) or 5 or higher on IB exams (without the IB diploma) in order for them to count as accelerated attempts for Bright Futures.
- You must have a C or better in a dual enrollment course for it to count for BFTP.
- If you do not pass an AP/IB test or a dual enrollment course, then you may need to take additional CLEP exams to meet the Bright Futures requirement. Contact the college that offers your major for advice on which exams to take. (

Evaluating your accelerated credits
- If you passed the exam(s), review the course equivalency charts for the appropriate exam to verify the course credit you have earned (see www.preview.ufl.edu/prep/apply.html#1 )
- Make sure that your credit does not duplicate a course you have signed up for at UF
unless you wish to repeat the course (otherwise, adjust your schedule).
