When can I pick up my honors cords?
A. Honors cords may be purchased at the UF Bookstore in the
Hub when you pick up your regalia the week before commencement.

If I am graduating with honors, must I purchase the cords?
A. No, honors cords are optional.
Q.
I think I am eligible for honors, but the staff at the bookstore indicated
that there was not an honors recommendation for me. How can I verify
my honors designation?
A. Students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences should
contact Linda O'donnell in 100 AAC. If it is determined that a change
is appropriate, she will notify the Office of the University Registrar in
writing. The Registrar's office then will update your records interactively.
Q.
If my honors status changes, what should I do?
A. If your honors status has changed, you should report to the
bookstore between 2:00 - 5:00 p.m., Friday, the day before commencement,
to purchase your cords.
Q.
Can the cords be returned if my honors designation changes?
A. Yes, the cords may be returned for a refund, but no later
than 5:00 p.m. Friday, the day before commencement.
Q. If I am graduating with high or highest honors, must
I purchase more than one set of honors cords?
A. No, you can purchase fewer sets than what is recommended
for your honors designation.
Q. Can I purchase honors
cords at a later date?
A. Yes, cords may be purchased any time after graduation
during the bookstore's regular hours.
