Q. How do I Pickup my honor cords ?
    A. Students who have a 3.5 or higher upper division GPA automatically receive GPA Honors.  You may pick up your cords during the week of commencement at the University Bookstore.  If you were not projected to have honors but brought your grades up to 3.5 upper division GPA, you may purchase them after 2:30pm the day preceding commencement.  Each student submitting a thesis for either high or highest honors, must also submit a copy of the unbound thesis along with a completed submission form to Room 120 Academic Advising Center. Honors list promptly submitted by departments, will be published in the commencement program with the projected ranking.  Post Baccalaureate students are not eligible for honors designation.

Q. When and where is commencement held?

Q. What will happen if my grade change or transcripts are not processed before commencement?
    A. All course work and grades must be completed and submitted within 30 days after commencement (date set by the Office of the Registrar). Students that complete coursework and have grade changes submitted within the 30 day window will be reinstated and will receive their degree for that term.  If transcripts remain incomplete after 30 days, you will need to re-apply to graduate.

Q. Where do I get information concerning graduation regalia and pictures?
    A. A letter will be mailed to each student's permanent address that has applied for graduation.  This letter gives details of how and where to pick up cap and gown and have professional photos taken.  For more detailed information you should visit the return counter at the University Bookstore.

    A. No, your diploma will be mailed to your permanent address by the Office of the University Registrar after the ceremony.
