Advising at the University of Florida

The University of Florida is committed to quality academic advising for all students. The academic advising mission is to assist students in the attainment of their educational goals.

In addition to college advisors, each department has an Undergraduate Adviser who advises the majors in their particular area. The University of Florida Schedule of Courses lists the Undergraduate Advisers at the beginning of the course listings for each department. These advisers assist students in planning their curriculum for their major.

Remember that advisers are available to provide accurate information and effective advice, but students ultimately are responsible for knowing and fulfilling all university, college and major requirements for graduation.
