Form
This petition is designed to evaluate courses taken at other
institutions in order to satisfy General Education or CLAS Basic Distribution
Requirements. If the course(s) you are having evaluated are required
for your major or minor you need to see the undergraduate coordinator
for your department.
- Transient Request form
College of Liberal Arts and Sciences students need to make
sure they download The CLAS Form (CLAS Download).
Students from other colleges need only download UF
Download.
- General College Petition Form
This is the general purpose "blue" form. You can petition to
drop courses, dual enroll, take an independent study course, change
catalog year, etc. See an advisor if you have questions.
- Application
to Add or Cancel a Minor
The minor affords a traditional, well-accepted way to recognize that
a student has completed a significant body of work outside the major.
Requirements for individual minors are available from the departments.
- Course Schedule Change Form
After the end of the official drop/add period, this form will allow
students to drop or add courses, adjust the credit hours for variable
credit courses, or change sections of the same course.
Senate Petition Information for CLAS Students
Please make note of the following steps required for
this process:

Obtain the appropriate documents from www.registrar.ufl.edu/petitionhub.html

Complete each form in its entirety as specified.
You may not obtain the Interviewing Officer’s signature
or statement without all portions of your petition completed.

You may meet with an advisor in 100 AAC on a walk-in basis Monday-Friday
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. if you have questions surrounding your petition,
the process, or if you would like to discuss the appropriateness of
a possible petition.

You must schedule an appointment by calling 352-392-1521x100 to obtain
the Interviewing Officer’s signature and Interviewing Officer’s
statement. You must bring your entire
petition including documentation for your scheduled appointment.
If you arrive more than 5 minutes after your appointment time,
you will not be seen and must reschedule.

If you are no longer in Gainesville and have scheduled your interview
over the phone, please be sure to fax your petition to the advisor
with whom you have the appointment at 352-392-2905.
