Get Involved!

  • Student Activities -- The Student Activities Center is the place to go to find out about student organizations and campus events.  You can search online for organizations and events that may interest you or visit them on the third floor of the Reitz Union.
  • Volunteer -- The Office of Community Service connects students with service opportunities.  Visit them on the third floor of the Reitz Union, or go to the Volunteer Gateway to search for service opportunities.
  • Study Abroad -- The International Center in 123 Grinter Hall is the place to go to learn about the wide array of opportunities for study abroad.
  • Live on Campus?
    • TRiPs -- Take a break, have an adventure, and meet new friends.  From a few hours to a few weeks, TRiP organizes excursions for all UF students.
    • Recreational Sports -- The Division of Recreational Sports offers opportunities for all students to get involved in athletics on campus.

  • Career Resource Center -- The Career Resource Center on the first floor of the Reitz Union offers a wide array of services from Career Counseling, help with your resume and finding an internship
  • UF's Career Resource Center (CRC) offers the Gator CareerLink to assist Liberal Arts and Sciences students and, on a limited basis, alumni of the University of Florida search for employment or an internship.

Academic Resources

  • The Broward Teaching Center offers free tutoring in many subjects as well as a Reading and Writing Center that has resources for preparing for the CLAST, GRE, LSAT, and MCAT tests.
  • The Counseling Center offers publications, workshops, and counseling services on test anxiety, time management, and a variety of other topics that can help put you on the track to academic success.
  • Sigma Tau Sigma honor society offers free tutoring for UF students in a variety of subjects.
  • The Online Writing Lab is a great resource for quick help on your papers.
