Mission Statement

In accordance with the mission of the University of Florida and of the Academic Advising Center, the pre-health division of the Office of Health and Legal Professions Advising functions to serve the needs of students as they pursue their academic and career goals.  Students interested in pursuing a career in the health professions are provided with a broad spectrum of services that include academic advising, pre-health professions career counseling and outreach programs.  The Pre-health Advising Office treats each student with respect and maintains confidentiality of those seeking our assistance regarding their academic and personal concerns.  This office recognizes the unique individuality of each student and that meeting the needs of the individual requires a personalized approach.
