Sales Development Program

Welcome to the Fall 2022 Beyond120 Sales Development program, in partnership with the Selling Factory. If you are interested in gaining professional experience at a local company, please review the information below. Spring 2023 applications will open on November 1, 2022.

Experience Overview

Before you get a real job, get real professional experience. Whether you are looking to build upon the tools learned through the Beyond120 program or enhance your resume, this is a unique professional skills laboratory. Partnering with The Selling Factory (TSF), a local business next to campus, students will spend approximately 5 hours per week performing B2B sales. This hands-on experience will boost confidence, strengthen communication, enhance critical thinking, and expand empathy—the skills most desired by future employers. TSF has helped students launch careers with KPMG, VMware, EY, Deloitte, Oracle, Gartner, Chewy, and more!

Testimonials from Former Program Participants

Anya Benitez Anya Benitez
Retail Banking Analyst at PNC

The most valuable skills I learned from TSF are persistence, trust, confidence, and learning how to connect with people. When calling on the phone, you learn how to approach people in the correct manner. You also learn how to display transparency and build relationship with prospects. Being persistent and confident is what leads you to success.

Camille Acha Camille Acha
Merchant Analyst at Bealls

A job that would teach me skills suchas Project Management is what I was looking for. I worked at TSF for a little over a year and worked on several different campaigns. I started these campaigns at different stages and witnessing the procedures change and being made aware of the effects of those changes in weekly meetings was the best part.

Paul Nameth Paul Nameth
Finance student at UF

I was looking for an experience where I could develop my skills in communication and differentiate myself from other Finance students. The training at TSF has prepared me to actively listen and communicate solutions based on customer needs. I feel confident that I can leverage the tools and skills I learned at TSF wherever life takes me.
