Description:

We have Internships available in every department of the business. Software Development, Business Analytics, Trade Room, Human Resources, Legal, Customer Care, Sales, Marketing and Finance.

“No, you won’t be picking up coffee or watering plants or making copies. And while you will gain plenty of valuable resume-building experience, you’ll earn a paycheck as well.

That’s because you’ll work alongside our employees on the projects we manage every day. You’ll get hands-on training working on our systems and solutions, and you’ll work individually and as part of a team to implement new ideas.

Students currently enrolled in college are eligible for internships and will earn class credit through working with us.”

Attributes we look for in an intern:

Excellent communication skills and a good cultural fit with our atmosphere are the first attributes we look for as well as a passion for the degree they are studying. We admire students who are working on personal projects away from the academic side as it demonstrates a passion for a subject matter that can often have huge benefits to how they apply themselves professionally.

Length of internship:
Range from 1 semester to 2 semesters and longer depending on performance.

Number of internships available during a semester or year: We currently have 10 interns within the company.

Special considerations interns should be aware of (for example, housing and food considerations, travel during the internship etc.).
We do not cover costs such as travel, housing or food.

Salary:
We pay a range from $11.00-$18.00 per hour depending on the department they will join.

CLAS CONNECTION

One of our Founders and current CEO Darin Cook is a UF alumni, as are a large number of our current executive team. Approximately 20% of our entire staff would be UF alumni. We have excellent relationships with a number of student bodies and organizations at UF as current employees are encouraged to remain part of the local UF activities to help provide advice and coaching to current students.

We offer a mentorship program for full time staff who work with members of our executive team to help advance their careers.

Advice to current students would be get involved with student bodies or groups to build your experience away from the academic work at UF. This will increase your communication skills and possibly allow you to develop relationships with individuals you may not otherwise have been exposed to that may be able to assist in your professional development.
