Georgetown University School of Medicine Information Sessions

The Georgetown University School of Medicine Office of Admissions would like to invite UF students to participate in one of our virtual information sessions. We're offering these one-hour sessions during the spring or summer semester based off of what works best for you and your students. We'll go over Georgetown's mission, what we're looking for in a competitive applicant, deadlines, and we will have plenty of time for a Q&A session at the end.

Our general, open to the public, virtual information sessions are held twice a month. We ask students to pre-register so we have an idea of attendance numbers. These sessions provide the same type of information as the School Specific Sessions. Students can register through the following link: https://georgetown.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5vtZpOhi1QtmwoC

Our online General Information Session dates for the Spring 2024 semester are as follows:

  • 4/4 at 12pm EST

  • 4/23 at 3pm EST

  • 5/2 at 12pm EST

  • 5/22 at 3pm EST

I am reaching out to you on behalf of Florida HOSA-future Health Professionals, an organization that prepares student leaders to become future health professionals. Our 2024 HOSA State Leadership Conference is right around the corner in April! At this conference, our middle school to collegiate level members compete to showcase their knowledge in a variety of health-related competitive events.

The 2024 Florida HOSA State Leadership Conference is set to occur April 4th-7th in Orlando Florida at the Marriott World Center Resort and we need judges! Judging for SLC competitive events is a great opportunity for you to gain meaningful volunteer hours and encourage the next generation of health professionals. We have several opportunities to judge across a wide-array of health disciplines. With over 2500+ competitors, we require over 200 judges!

The tentative deadline to register to judge is this Friday, March 8th!!!

Please visit the link below to view the list of competitive events and register to be a judge at this year's conference:

***If you need more time to decide if you would like to judge please reach out to me personally at fhapa@flhosa.org***

We ask that you reference the time that you signed up to judge on either April 5th and/or 6th. Florida HOSA greatly appreciates our judges, but we ask that you coordinate lodging and transportation to the event. We also ask you volunteer to judge an event that fits around your educational background. Please expect more specific communications at the end of March. We appreciate your time and commitment to HOSA-Future Health Professionals.
